If you proceeded through checkout and received a confirmation screen, then yes, your order has been placed with us. You should have also received a confirmation email containing the billing and shipping address, order number, and footwear ordered.
Will I receive an email after I've placed an order?
We always send an email to confirm an order; in the event you don't receive one, please check your email account's spam folder. Our emails are sometimes mistakenly routed to the spam folder and you may think we're ingnoring you - that's certainly not the case!
Is everything on the website, in-stock and available to ship?
We try our hardest to keep the footwear we offer, in-stock, but occassionally we might not have the shoe immediately available. Certain brands are difficult to keep in-stock due to popularity and we are selling them as quickly as we get them in; other situations may arise where we just inventoried the available amount incorrectly. Footwear in our sale catagories are usually discontinued with minimal quantities, therefore we sometimes run-out before we can fulfill an order. It's an inconvenience that we'd like to apologize for and please understand that you will not be billed for an item thats discontinued.
How much will my order total be? with tax? with shipping?
During the checkout process, you will be presented with various shipping options; the UPS options are calculated based on weight and your zip code and our USPS options are flat rate. We are required to charge sales tax (8.75%) on all orders with ship-to addresses within California. Your complete order total will then be displayed before you're required to confirm the order. If you've selected a shipping method that's not feasible to your location, e.g. UPS Ground to a P.O. box, then the displayed order total will not be correct; this will also delay the processing of your order.
Can I tape-up and mail my return in just the shoe box?
Please place unwanted shoes in their box then inside an appropriate shipping carton or poly bag; this will help ensure the footwear arrives complete and undamaged. It's best to reuse the original shipping carton, but if you've thrown it out or it's too damaged, the Post Office provides a free Priority Mail shipping carton when you use their Priority Mail service. We will charge a $20 restock fee on all returns that do not come packaged properly.
How is my information safe-guarded during the ordering process?
For the protection of our customer's privacy, we currently encrypt sensitive data during transfer with an AES 256 bit shared SSL certificate; the initial checkout process, where you input your name/address, doesn't transfer customer information - the information is checked for validity with a simple JavaScript form validation locally within your browser. Once this initial step is successfully completed, a secure connection is established, where you're then required to select your preferred shipping method and payment method. Look in your browser's address bar for the "https://" or for the padlock logo to know when a connection to our server is being encrypted.
